Canolfan Tresaith

This Centre is one of Tresaith’s larger buildings, with plenty of room for up to 44 persons to sleep! It has two dorm rooms, one with bunk beds for 20 boys / men, and another with 20 bunk beds for girls. There are two smaller rooms next to each of the two dorms where the teachers / leaders can stay with some privacy!

There is a large dining area / living area next to an industrial self catered kitchen. There are washrooms with showers – one male the other female.

The Centre is situated in the middle of the picturesque coastal village of Tresaith. It lies only 200 yards from the beach along a footpath that goes through the middle of the village.

Who can stay?

Any group of people! You can hire the Centre privately. We ask that you stay there for at least two evenings and with at least 10 persons staying the night. It is a perfect place for schools / Sunday Schools / various organisations / families / friends to enjoy and share in Tresaith’s tranquillity. Read the testimonials for yourself.

What should we bring?

The Centre is self catering. There is a large fridge and a large freezer in the kitchen, so bring plenty of food. There is a gas oven and a deep frier, a potato peeling machine and a dish washer also. Bring your own bed clothes (for single beds), sleeping bags or blankets. Pillows are provided but not covers.

Parking

There is room for up to two mini buses outside the Centre. If you need more space please let us know beforehand and we could keep space for parking next to the beach.

Getting there:

From Aberporth direction: Having arrived at Tresaith follow the road down and turn left towards the sea. Having turned left you will find the Centre by turning first entrance left, and the Centre is at the end of this private road.

From northern route: Having arrived at Tresaith, follow the narrow road down and then up towards a turning in the road, here you will turn right towards the sea. Having turned right, turn first left and the Centre is at the end of this private road.

We ask that you keep in mind that the Centre is situated in the centre of the village which has people living in the area. We are grateful if you can keep the noise at a minimum.

Tresaith Centre 2008 Prices:

It costs only £10 per person, per night to stay at Tresaith Centre. Electric, heating and gas are provided for no extra charge.”

A discount is given to a group of Welsh learners (eg. CYD), secondary Welsh bilingual shools, and to Sunday Schools and Chrisitian groups.
