‘Siop y Traeth’ or the Beach Shop, is the only shop in Tresaith. As the name suggests, it is situated right on the beach! The shop has a wide selection of goods – from the traditional such as bucket and spades, swim wear, wet suits to books, CD’s and colourful bags of all sorts! You can even hire a wet suit for only £5 a day. Probably the main attraction is the delicious, organic ice cream produced locally in Pembrokeshire in many different flavours.

The girls who work here are always welcoming and ready to help. The fair trade coffee is also a welcoming break – be it a cappuchino, mocha or hot chocolate!

Terrace: Walking through the shop you come to an outside terrace, a wonderful sitting area with beautiful views across the beach and towards the sea. There is plenty of room to sit and to wonder over a cappuchino!

Opening times: every day during Welsh school holidays from 10.30am until 6pm, and on every dry weekend between Easter Holidays and October Half Term  (closed during Winter)

Facilities: There are public toilets with a washing area opposite the shop. On both sides of the shop there is a parking area.

The Cabin: Next to the shop there is a food cabin. Here we sell ‘traditional’ sea side food – fish and chips, Welsh beef burgers and also bacon baps and free range eggs. There are also healthier options and vegetarian food, or you can have filled baguettes at the shop next door. The Cabin is open during the holiday period whilst the sun is shining!
